Science and math Institute at Bellevue college   

The Science and Math Institute (SAMI) at Bellevue College is pleased to announce Science Saturdays, an exciting program that extends the BC Summer Science Camp experience into the academic school year!

Science Saturdays at Bellevue College are fun and challenging 3-hour sessions filled with “hands-on, minds-on” science, math, & engineering activities for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students. Each session is run by a Bellevue College faculty member who has created an age-appropriate program designed to educate and inspire your child!

The final Science Saturday for the 2011-2012 academic school year took place on Saturday, April 28 on the Bellevue College campus. Thank you to all of the families that took part in the series this year! Science Saturdays will return in Fall 2012.

Who Can Participate?
Science Saturdays designed for kids in 5th, 6th, and 7th grades. Advanced fourth graders may be accepted based on availability.  Contact Kate Souza for more information.

When and Where will Science Saturdays take place?
All sessions will take place at Bellevue College on select Saturdays during the school year from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Sessions will begin in S201 and will be conducted on and around the Bellevue College Campus.

Tuition and Fees:
Each 3-hour session is $50.00. Tuition is due at the time of registration. All supplies and a healthy snack are included in the tuition.   Full scholarships are available to students who qualify for free or reduced fare lunches.  Please send proof of eligibility along with your registration form.

Cancellation Policy: In the case of insufficient registration, Bellevue College reserves the right to cancel any program five days before it begins. In the event of a cancellation, all participants will receive a full refund.
