Increased levels of autism and asthma. expanding ranges of malaria and other diseases, the lose of important natural medical reserves, reduced air quality, toxins in toys...in neglecting environmental concerns are we ultimately taking a toll on human health? In understanding the causes of some of these issues can we reverse the trends and create an environment that is health for humans and the rest of the planet? Join us this Winter Quarter to discuss these issues and more as we delve into the many ways that how humans treat the environmental can be critical for our own health and survival.

The goal of this quarterly “brown bag” seminar is to discuss some of the environmental issues facing the northwest and the world today, through an analysis of current articles and readings. The seminar may include volunteer work, a field trip, and/or guest lectures.
