"Affluenza" - Friday, April 21, 10:30-11:30
Affluenza is a fascinating look at one of the greatest social maladies of our time: overconsumption and materialism. Hosted my National Public Radio's Scott Simon, Affluenza explores both the comical and sobering aspects of our consumerism and its enormous impact on our families, communities and the environment. In response to this materialistic lifestyle, many people are opting out of the consumer culture. Some are turning to one of the fastest growing trends in our country, voluntary simplicity, which is just one of the many "cures" that are explored in Affluenza. (Source: Amazon.com)

"Future of Food " - Thursday, April 20, 2:30-4:30
There is a revolution happening in the farm fields and on the dinner tables of America, a revolution that is transforming the very nature of the food we eat. This documentary explores the disturbing truth behind the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled grocery store shelves for the past decade. It also examines the complex web of market and political forces that are changing what we eat as huge multi-national corporations seek to control the world's food system. (Source: Amazon.com)

"Grizzly Man " - Tuesday, April 18, 2:30-4:30
In his mesmerizing new film, GRIZZLY MAN, acclaimed director Werner Herzog explores the life and death of amateur grizzly bear expert and wildlife preservationist Timothy Treadwell. Treadwell lived unarmed among the bears for thirteen summers, and filmed his adventures in the wild during his final five seasons. In October 2003, Treadwell’s remains, along with those of his girlfriend, Amie Huguenard, were discovered near their campsite in Alaska’s Katmai National Park and Reserve. They had been mauled and devoured by a grizzly, the first known victims of a bear attack in the park. (Source: Amazon.com)

"Wal-mart - The High Cost of a Low Price " - Tuesday, April 18, 12:30-2:30
This documentary takes the viewer on a deeply personal journey into the everyday lives of families struggling to fight Goliath. From a family business owner in the Midwest to a preacher in California, from workers in Florida to a poet in Mexico, dozens of film crews on three continents bring the intensely personal stories of an assault on families and American values. Everyone has seen Wal-Mart's lavish television commercials, but have you ever wondered why Wal-Mart spends so much money trying to convince you it cares about your family, your community, and even its own employees?
