The Science and Math Institute at Bellevue College promotes student success in science, technology, engineering and mathematics by offering innovative programs and events to BC faculty and students.

The Science Division houses all of Bellevue College's Science and Math programs.  The Science Division Main Office is located in L200.  The main office line can be reached at (425) 564-2321.

Science Division Programs

Bellevue College Science Division offers the following math and science degrees:

  • Chemistry Instructor and StudentsAssociate in Science
    Track I:
    Biological, Environmental and Resources Science, Chemistry, and Earth Sciences
    Track II: Physics, Atmospheric Sciences, and Engineering
    Track III: Engineering/MRP
        Chemical and Bio-Engineering
        Electrical and Computer Engineering
        Civil, Mechanical and other Engineering

  • Associate in Math Education/DTA
    Designed for student interested in teaching secondary mathematics and pursuing a teaching
    certificate.

    Students can take math and science transfer classes to prepare for virtually any science
    discipline, including astronomy, chemistry, environmental science, fisheries, forestry, geology or
    physics.

    Bellevue College also offers the following medical-science pre-professional preparation:
    - Pre-Dental
    - Pre-Dental Hygiene
    - Pre-Nursing
    - Pre-Medical
    - Pre-Occupational Therapy
    - Pre-Pharmacy
