Homework was due at 11:30 pm on Sunday this particular quarter.

What suggestions would you give to future students to help them be successful with OWL?

The shockwave tutorials were the most effective in explaining the material.

Don't wait until the last minute to do the H.W., do a few problems throughout the day.

Check your work before entering the "check answer" button.  Also, don't do OWL just because it's homework, but actually try to understand it and use it at practice problems.

Start as soon as you can and do as much as you can througout the week.  The one time I had time to do that my stress level was greatly decreased.

Spread out the questions.  Doing all the homework on Sunday night really sucks.  Even only 30 minutes a day on OWL H.W. adds up, and is less stressful for you.

Get the work done early and do it in the study center so you can print the information sheets for free.

Take time to check your commands on OWL.  It sucks when you have the right answer but entered it wrong.  Take your time and double check your work.

Don't be scared, don't give up.  The important thing is you need to spend your time on what you want to learn.  You will get it if you spend your time on it.

Try and do a couple a night so you don't get really frustrated on Sunday night trying to finish before 11:30 pm and getting stressed out.

Take your time and punch in the answer correctly so you won't have to do it over again.

Be sure to have paper, a pencil, and a calculator close by so that you can work out problems.  Take a break if you get frustrated, and try to be as relaxed about it as possible.  Make sure you have enough time to get all the questions done at a comfortable pace.

DO  THE EXTRA CREDIT!!!!  It helps you understand what is going to be done in the up-coming home work problems.

Don't save it all to the last minute.  Do a little bit each day as week goes on so you are not overwhlemed on the night it is due.

It would definitely be helpful to read the textbook before doing OWL because it asks questions that sometimes aren't covered in the class lectures.

I would tell them to take it seriously because OWL helped me a lot with my grade both in knowledge and scores.

The suggestions I would give to future students would be read the text always, because it helped a lot more when I was doing my homework on OWL.  Also don't wait until the last minute to do all the problem do a little every night so you don't have to cram it all in, and you learn better when you are taking your time trying to learn the problems on OWL instead of rushing.

Try doing the shockwave extra credit if you don't quite understand the required questions.

It is very helpful to read the chapter before you start OWL. Don't wait until the last minute because if you don't know how to do something, it might take you longer than you think.

So that you make sure you finish it, do a little bit each day, don't leave it all until the last day.

Start early, and don't wait until Sunday night.  Always, always double, and triple check your answers before you submit them.  Print out the information pages before you do the questions.

1.  Do not wait until the last day to do your homework.  2.  DO read text before you start the OWL work, it'll make it go faster.  3.  Take notes when you fail an assignment, it'll show you the how-to and the correct answer.  Very useful, indeed.

The best advice is don't slack and keep doing it daily.  This allowed me to keep all the material we learned in class fresh in my mind si I would be able to remember it by the time test day comes.

Don't just hit the check answer key to get answers!  Actually learn what is going on!!

Start early in the week!  It helps you to understand the lecture and it helps you not to end up cruching on time!

Do at least 30 minutes a day.  Don't wait until the weekend to do the homework.  Take note of important materials.

Be very careful on how you input chemical formulas, do not forget to put both _ _'s and both ^^'s otherwise you get the question wrong and you will fail.  Take your time and ALWAYS revise your answer to make sure that is  what you wanted to include.  Also, remember significant figures.  Also, do the Shockwave tutorials, they are very helpful and easy to use and are a great example for the complicated problems.

That it is a long and tortuous process, but there is going to be much harder things to do in life and complaining about it is only going to make it harder!  Oh yeah, to help out with future students I would suggest to look at the next assignment for the week and make note of what is on it, so when a teacher talks about it, that is when you should complete that section and not all on Sunday night.

One just has to be dedicated with that OWL and have lots of patients with it

Double check your work and do not make typing errors.  Typos were the biggest waste of time for me, having to start over if I typed in a correct answer wrong on the last question.

Have the book out when you are doing OWL homework; a lot of the answers are in the text.  Also, read the info pages and use them during the questions!

I would tell them to do a couple questions each day.  That way, they won't have to cram the material and rush finishing the homework on the day the homework is due.  Also, I would tell them to print out the helpful notes and tricky problems (with feedback from OWL) so they can review it before a test.

The suggestion I would give is to do the OWL homework early in the week so they don't struggle and get frustrated by doing it the day it's due.

Do them on time.  Read instruction and learn how to use the correct formula.

Don't procrastinate til the last day.  You most likely will not finish if you do.

Try to give yourself plenty of time to do OWL.  Don't wait til the last few hours.  If you are stuck, go on and come back to do it later.  Doing the extra credit before the required assignment is helpful because the extra credit tells you what to do step by step.
